GET EVENT HEALTH & SAFETY UPDATES
YOUR HEALTH AND SAFETY IS OUR #1 PRIORITY
The health and safety of the AAHFN 18th Annual Meeting attendees, exhibitors, and staff remain a top priority as we return to an in-person event. We are making preparations to ensure the highest standards of safety, sanitation, and operational effectiveness for all participants.
IN-PERSON PROTOCOL
All attendees, speakers, exhibitors and staff may be asked to show proof of a complete COVID-19 vaccine cycle or the results of a negative COVID-19 PCR test when arriving at the registration desk.
All in-person attendees will be required to review and agree to our Health & Safety Waiver & Assumption of Risk during the registration process.
If you are experiencing CDC-recognized COVID-19 symptoms or have been diagnosed with COVID-19 within the past two weeks, we ask that you please refrain from attending the in-person meeting.
MASK GUIDELINES
We will be following the CDC guidelines on masking for our event (as of 1/21/2022):
- Everyone 2 years or older who is not fully vaccinated should wear a mask in indoor public places.
- If you are fully vaccinated, to maximize protection and prevent possibly spreading COVID-19 to others, wear a mask indoors in public if you are in an area of substantial or high transmission.
- In general, you do not need to wear a mask in outdoor settings.
- In areas with high numbers of COVID-19 cases, consider wearing a mask in crowded outdoor settings and for activities with close contact with others who are not fully vaccinated.
- People who have a condition or are taking medications that weaken their immune system may not be fully protected even if they are fully vaccinated. They should continue to take all precautions recommended for unvaccinated people, including wearing a well-fitted mask, until advised otherwise by their healthcare provider.
* All COVID-19 pandemic policies are subject to revision. Continue to check for health and safety updates. Update as of 2/2/2022
