Audience
The AAHFN Annual Meeting is designed to meet the educational needs of nurses and allied health professionals who care for patients with heart failure across the spectrum of care: inpatient settings, outpatient offices, diagnostic services, emergency departments, palliative care and home care. Topics may focus on clinical care; evidence based practice, summaries of research findings or the theoretical applications for the novice or experienced clinician.

To request assistance with a submission, answer yes to the question within the online abstract form by Friday, October 22, 2021 and a member of the research committee will contact you directly.

Submitted and accepted abstracts/posters/presentations will be eligible based on the degree of excellence as determined by the AAHFN Research Committee. If you DO NOT wish to be considered for an award, please indicate so when completing your submission.
Categories
Research: abstracts submitted in this category should report completed research studies relevant to Heart Failure treatment and patient care.
Practice Improvement: abstracts submitted in this category should summarize/document a creative and/or novel advance in the care and/or management of patients with heart failure.
Submission Notes:
- Accepted abstracts will be published in Heart & Lung: The Journal of Acute and Critical Care
- AAHFN welcomes abstracts previously submitted to other national or international meetings
- Authors may submit and unlimited number of abstracts
- Submitted Abstracts will be peer reviewed
- Abstracts may be accepted for oral or poster presentation
Notifications
Abstract Notifications will be sent indicating the status of acceptance in February.
