"Membership in AAHFN has contributed significantly to my professional growth. The opportunity to network regularly with colleagues across the country by participating in committee membership is an amazing venue to hone leadership, writing, and communication skills. Being awarded the Robin Trupp Scholarship was further support for the value of AAHFN in my professional life. Sure, the financial support helped me tremendously with tuition payment in my DNP program while my daughter was in a BSN program at the same time, but even deeper than this, the award showed support of the AAHFN community. I felt truly special!" Susan D'Anna 2019 Scholarship Recipient "Being awarded the Robin J. Trupp scholarship had a significant impact on the successful completion of my graduate degree. This special award enabled me to maintain focus and commitment in earning my MSN during the pandemic. Dr. Trupp and AAHFN's contribution to my educational goals will enhance my investment and service to the heart failure community now and in the future" Joseph Armitage 2020 Scholarship Recipient “I was humbled to receive this scholarship. This scholarship means that I can complete my degree without stopping for financial reasons. I can’t thank AAHFN enough for choosing me!” Catherine Bean 2022 Scholarship Recipient I am thankful to be the recipient of the Robin J. Trupp scholarship 2024. This will assist me as I continue my journey to advance my education at Duke University School of Nursing and grow in the nursing profession as an Adult Gero Primary Care Nurse Practitioner. This opportunity provided to me by Robin J. Trupp and the AAHFN will not just benefit me, but will ultimately benefit many patients in my community for years to come. Thanks so much to the AAHFN and Robin J. Trupp, it is a true honor.
