AAHFN 13th Annual Meeting

When someone says “Orlando,” what’s the first thing to cross your mind? Consider this: the traits that make Orlando such a great place to visit are farther-reaching than whatever you may have thought of first - including that world-famous mouse. Yes, there’s plenty of sunshine and temperatures that rarely dip below the 60's, but the charming neighborhoods, diverse population, robust employment and year-round recreation make this vacation hot spot a great place to visit.

The City of Orlando is nicknamed "The City Beautiful" and its symbol is the fountain at Lake Eola. Orlando is also known as "The Theme Park Capital of the World" and in 2014 its tourist attractions and events drew more than 62 million visitors.

Located in central Florida, Orlando is home to more than a dozen theme parks. Chief among its claims to fame is Walt Disney World, comprised of parks such as the Magic Kingdom and Epcot, as well as water parks. Another major destination, Universal Orlando, offers Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure, with the Wizarding World of Harry Potter straddling both.
