AAHFN 2021 Annual Meeting

COVID-19 Update

12/16/2020

After thoughtful discussion and analysis concerning the continuing impact of the coronavirus, the AAHFN Board of Directors and AH staff decided to proactively transition the AAHFN 17 th Annual Meeting that was to take place in Savannah, Georgia to an all-virtual event.

This difficult decision was driven by the individual and public health implications of large gatherings during a pandemic of this magnitude and the health and well-being of our members, the patients they care for, our staff, and our industry partners. As always, we followed the guidance of the CDC and WHO, trying to best predict when vaccinations and other infection control measures will significantly slow the spread and magnitude of the coronavirus.

By making this decision early, we can now fully commit to providing the most exhilarating and important aspects of AAHFN’s Annual Meeting — from education to rejuvenation and networking — offering an enhanced virtual platform to more nurses than ever before.

While we are disappointed to share this news, we know wholeheartedly that this is what’s best for our community of exceptional nurses. We know there will be many questions to follow and we will navigate these times together. You can expect regular updates about AAHFN’s 17th Annual Meeting as we continue to plan our exciting virtual event in a new and upgraded platform. We appreciate your continued support during these difficult times.
