AAHFN Self Care Topics 

As heart failure nurses, we do an excellent job of instructing our patients on how to live a healthy lifestyle, although frequently neglect to follow our own advice. Eating well, exercising regularly, and stress reduction techniques are of the utmost importance to avoid experiencing burn out. With demanding jobs, raising children, and caring for aging parents, self-care often takes a back seat. Knowing that nurses are at high risk for burn out, AAHFN has put together some self-care topics you may find helpful.
