This conference is intended for cardiovascular specialists, heart failure specialists, practicing cardiologists, cardiovascular advanced practice providers (NP or PA), internists, family physicians and critical care nurses.

This conference will enable participants to:

• Recognize patients with HFpEF and understand pitfalls of the diagnosis
• Describe the pathophysiology of HFpEF including characteristic hemodynamic alterations and the role of coexisting conditions (i.e., kidney, lung, metabolic, etc)
• Apply rational decisions for diagnostic testing in patients with suspected HFpEF
• Discuss currently available therapies for HFpEF
• Understand potential new therapies for HFpEF and know how to select patients
• Improve ability to practice “precision”, patient-centered medicine for patients with HFpEF
