Statement Regarding Novel Coronavirus
After careful consideration, AAHFN has made the decision to reschedule the AAHFN Advanced Heart Failure Symposium, originally scheduled to take place on March 20 –21, 2020.
The new meeting dates are November 6-7, 2020.
Our decision to reschedule the meeting was not taken lightly. The AAHFN has been closely monitoring updates and recommendations from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the World Health Organization (WHO), as well as state and local governments. In recent days, we've also learned of the increasing number of travel advisories and restrictions being placed on health care providers and hospitals as well as institutions in the U.S. Due to the fact that our members and learners treat the most vulnerable patient population, we felt it was important to avoid unnecessary risk.
The health, safety and the well-being of our members, staff, exhibitors, and the patients we serve is of the utmost importance. With AAHFN members preparing and reacting to the COVID-19 outbreak, we believe it is in the best interest of everyone to reschedule the meeting.
We have prepared
a FAQ Document to help with answering travel, refund, and other questions. This document will continue to be updated.
Thank you for your understanding.
