Executive Director

In her role as Executive Director, Karyn's duties include direct oversight of the AAHFN organization. She works with the executive committee and board of directors on plans, projections, and budget, implements decisions and supervises core staff.


Theresa “TC” Field-Bobroski, CAE

Oversees the daily operations of AAHFN. Oversees the accreditation for online educational course offerings. Works with the Executive Director on various projects as needed. Staff liaison to the Advocacy, Editorial, and Education Committees.


Gail Haas

Director of Membership and Client Services

Researches viable member benefits and programs for new member recruitment and retention. Develops marketing tools to reach out to the membership. Oversees the online AAHFN Store and Bookstore. Administers Annual Meeting Gazette and Scholarship program. Serves as website communication liaison for AAHFN. Oversees all projects given to the Membership Coordinator. Implements and manages the call for volunteers (committees). Assists Executive Director with special projects as needed. Staff liaison to the Membership Committee, the Research Committee, and Scholarship Sub Committee.


Clare MacNab, CEM, CMP

Director of Meetings & Exhibits

Works hand in hand with each of the face-to-face Program Planning Committees to develop, promote and execute the HF Readmission Symposia, the Advanced HF Symposium, the Annual Meeting and all in person meetings for the Board of Directors. Responsible for overseeing all logistical arrangements with the hotel and vendors involved in the production of live educational activities. Manages exhibits and serves as main point of contact for exhibit sales. Director of the entire meeting registration process. Ambassador of information for all meeting participants. Clare holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. She has 16 years of professional experience in the meetings and exhibit industry and has earned the certified in exhibition management (CEM), and certified meeting professional credentials (CMP).


Pam Brown

Certification Manager

Manages and reviews certification and recertification exam applications. Corresponds with members concerning questions about certification and recertification criteria requirements. Website communication liaison for heart failure certification website. Oversees online store for CHFN merchandise. Staff liaison for the Certification Board. Assists with special projects as needed.
