PURPOSE
The purpose of this activity is to enable the learner to improve their understanding about the prevalence, risk factors, patient characteristics, pathophysiology, and treatment of HFPEF.

 

OBJECTIVES
1. Compare and contrast the prevalence, mortality, risk factors, and patient characteristics of HF-Reduced Ejection Fraction (EFREF) and Heart Failure Preserved 2.
2. Ejection Fraction (HFPEF).
3. Describe the pathophysiology of HFPEF.
4. Identify guideline recommendations for the treatment of HFPEF.


REQUIREMENTS FOR SUCCESSFUL COMPLETION

Participant must read the accreditation information, complete the activity in its entirety, successfully pass the post test with a minimal score of 70% and submit an evaluation to be awarded contact hours.

Participants who successfully complete this activity in its entirety will be awarded 1.2 contact hour.
